When Tanya arrives with her adolescent daughter at Number One Quayside, newly divorced and not knowing anyone in the block of flats, you can’t help feeling sympathy for her. But from a shaky start, her character blossoms through these bite-size stories. By the end, she has managed to unite the residents, launch a library of things, and find personal happiness as well. I loved going on the journey with her, meeting a variety of quirky characters along the way, and being inspired as well as entertained. All I want to know is, will there be a sequel?
