When Rose arrives in the bustling frontier city of St Louis, her only goal is to put her past behind her. However, a chance encounter with the adventure-seeking English aristocrat Henry Fitzwilliam soon has Rose returning to her Cheyenne roots.

Rose leads Henry on a madcap dash across the vast prairies, from the Platte River basin to the foothills of the majestic Rockies. But try as they might, they can never quite shake off Bud Blake, an opportunistic cowboy with a nose for Henry’s money and a grudge against Rose. There’s treasure to be found in the wilderness, but as Rose will have to learn, it’s what you do with it that counts.
